With the Biblio Files Trilogy behind me, I'm often asked what fans of the Biblio Twins have to look forward to. True, The Tamerlane Trap does leave the door open for another three books and even gives away the proposed titles. But I think it's best to let the Biblios rest and recuperate while I attend to other stories floating around my head.

As of this writing, I'm thinking that my days of self-publishing are behind me. So, absent a book contract from a publisher who is willing to resurrect the Biblios and give them new life, I may well never revisit them to complete the next three books. Of course, having said that, should my current projects never get off the ground by other means, I suppose I will eventually put them on Amazon as a ninety-nine cent ebook as so many others do. But I think they're great stories and deserve a better fate than that.

So what are my newest projects, you may be wondering?

As I said in my FAQ a couple months ago, I have two completed manuscripts. The first is called Myles Cavendish in Captain Vidiot and the Attack of the Gwarks! (also known as GameChanger), a rather lengthy book that takes a new spin on an old subject. The other completed book is called The Cloudbreaker (yes, I changed the title), and is quite a bit shorter but just as much fun. Those books are currently looking for a good home, either with a caring agent, an eager editor, or a loving publisher.

Looking forward, I'm working on a screenplay for Gwarks! and have three books that are nagging me to be written--one children's book and two adult books. Whichever one nags the loudest gets written first ... but sometimes they all nag loudly! And, of course, there are always the errant magazine and newspaper articles that I write from time to time.

Also, this summer, look for this website to change drastically. The web address will change to www.ralphraab.com, most likely, and it will be revamped to encompass all of my work. My email address will also change, so check the contacts page for updates if you're trying to reach me.

That's it for now, except for one thing: thanks. Thank you so much for supporting my work and buying so many copies of the Biblio Files books that it made the booksellers and agents take notice. And for all the schoolkids who asked me when I would unleash Captain Vidiot on the world so that they could read it: be patient and cross your fingers. You may be able to read it sooner than you think.

Much love from Bleakhouse-

Ralph
